Sickness
So it's winter, and people are sick. What else is new. I walk into school, and as soon as I step into the *I.B. hallway I can feel the infection trying to get a hold of me. We being in I.B. we don't want to miss a day of school believe it or not. So, when one person gets sick, we all get sick. Luckly, I seem to be getting missed by the infection, however it's just a matter of time before I also get hit.
A brief update of what's happened since '06.
I'm now 16 (need to change my profile). I don't feel any different, in fact if anything I feel younger, more childish. Supposedly you're supposed to act more mature the older you get, but I don't see it. I have two younger siblings, the oldest being seven years behind me, so that helps with the whole staying young idea. I don't like the idea of getting old, it seems that there are more responsibilities that you need to work out that you don't have to worry about when you're a kid. Most of the stuff isn't that important. Like, what am I going to wear to work today? What am I going to eat? Am I going to sleep in or not? Am I gonna punch the guy that just flicked me off or not? It's just stuff that doesn't make any sense to me. Sure I'll go to work to earn money. Hell, the more money you have, the more cool toys you can buy. Yea, I'll go to school, but more to see my friends than to learn. Learning's an important thing to do, but it's just not nearly as fun as picking on the midget, and backing off when you get too deep, or go too far. (Yea I go, too far...Who'd have thought?) What to wear? Something comfy that looks dicent...Sounds good to me. I really don't care if it's not Ambercrombe, or Nike. Steeve and Barey's has comphy and nice looking clothing for about $10 each.
I've gotten a job. It's a little more different than what I thought it would be like. So many people are like, "I HATE my job. It's just the same thing over and over again, and I don't get paid squat for it." I actually like my job. I'm a bus boy/bar back at a restaurant, and it's actually fun. There's so much energy in the room that it's impossible to just stand still for a second. Really I could take a breath, and there'd be another glass to clean, or another table to wipe off. Or in the back of the restaurant, if you don't watch your step it would be very easy to fall right on the floor.
I now have the Wii!!! I've waited so long for this system, as many others have, and I'm totally impressed with how very interactive it is. I Wii Sports for example, you could play to the fullest. You could swing the controller like you would a tennis racket, or you could punch like you were really boxing. Or you could do little motions, like a little twitch of the controller and get the same (if not better) response. I've also beaten Twilight Princess. I was a little upset with this game because it seemed to progress a lot faster than I wanted it to. In the end though, I still love it as much as either A Link To The Past, or OoT. Unfortunatly I've already made a stupid mistake in the buying of games, and bought Marvel Alliance. It's too like the other comic games that have been made in the past. I haven't played it much, so I can't say too much, but I don't think I'll be playing it much more.
Christmas came and past and cool games were bought. I got Final Fantasy XII, which is just hard. I'd be doing fine for a while, then I'd have to go train for an hour because I couldn't get past a mini-boss...I hate when that happens. I also got Shadow of the Colossus, which is a GREAT game. I've already beaten it, and you could beat it off of a rent (I did), but it's so much fun just reliving the idea of having to kill something that's 10-20 times taller than you. Samurai Warriors 2 is an okay game. I don't hate the game itself, I loved the first one, but I think it's either the new level system, or the new voices that really put me off. Keiji's voice has really changed, and I don't like it.
I'm in a minor dillema...I can't figure out what game to buy next. I can't decide on either DDR with Dance Mat, or Guitar Hero with Guitar. I'm going to get one or the other, and the one I don't get I WILL get later. If any one else has any more games that are amazing, please tell me. I need to find a new good game...However I should probably beat the one's that I already have shouldn't I...Oh well.
That's the longest post I've done in a while...then again it' s one of the only posts that I've posted in a while, Oh well. Night all.
