5 days

So right now I have a song by Peter Gabriel stuck in my head. It's called Red Rain. It's very slow and melodical, like, well, rain.

Next week we have our Exams. Two on the first day, two on the second, two on the third. So we can't relax until 2:15 of June seventh. Fun Fun Fun.

Very recently I've been introduced to a site called 1up.com. It's amazing the information they have about different games. I went on there to look at the new Zelda game and ended up looking at five different games.

Super Smash Brothers Brawl
The Smash games have been a personal favorite of mine. I'm really interested in this one, because of the different characters it has, and how it will work on the Wii*. Super Smash Brothers has always been a fighting game, one character against many. There are the original Nintendo characters (Mario, Star Fox, Link, Kirby, Samus, some pokemon), and there are the newer Nintendo characters (Bowser, Falco Lombardi, Zelda, Gannondorf). Now their introducing even more characters to the mix. Their adding Zero Suit Samus, Metaknight, Snake (MGS), and Wario. The graphics look amazing, and the other games haven't dissapointed me yet.

The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess
I've been waiting for this game for a very long time. I've always been a huge Zelda fan, and have tried to tell everyone the greatness of the series. I've played all of the Zelda games, but not beaten them all.
This game looks like it can blow all of the other Zelda games out of the water. It has crystal clear graphics, a huge amount of detail, the best hero of all time (Link), and it's being released on both the Wii and the Gamecube. From what I've seen this game can easily compete with OoT.

MGS 4
I just looked at the trailer for this today, and found it pretty cool. It's not at the top of my list to play, but it still looks like a good game.
We're Snake/Big Boss again in this game, but he's very old. It's gotten to the point in his life where his body's starting to deteriorate on itself. And yet, he goes out to the middle east and does things that most people couldn't.

Megaman ZX
I've been a hardcore Megaman fan since I was young. I've always loved the games, and when ever it was on, I would watch the show. Now their coming out with a new Megaman game for a system that I own, that is like saying "come play me." So yes I will be buying and playing that game until I've beaten it.

*Wii is the latest system for Nintendo. It has a wireless remote/controller that has an infared laser that can interact with the game you're playing. For example, in the new Zelda game, you can use the controller to shoot your bow, look around, and fish. The Wii suposedly has backward capability, but I haven't confirmed so yet. It will be under 250 dollars (thank god) and has a slot or two for the gamecube memory card and controller to go into.

I went to the movies with a couple of friends lately, and saw X3. X-men is a recently aquired hobby of mine. I love how this could really happen. We could all mutate and have supernatural powers that we wouldn't normally dream of, and that gives me goosebumps.

So back to the movie.

The movie was really good. The phoenix was introduced and was very angry. I'm getting too excited, so if you want to know more, than go see it.
I'd give it a Seven out of Ten.
It wasn't the best movie ever, but it was good. The special effects were astounding and there is a little scene at the end after the credits, but it's only ten seconds long if that.

So there are only Six days of school left. I've got to finish two exam projects, and study for more. On top of that, we still have homework everyday, and have to do it if we want our grades to stay up.

Well, now I must go prepare for dinner and get all of my stuff ready for tomorrow. Have an absolutly BEAUtiful day. Night.

7 Days

Soooo... Seven days left of school, and we still haven't done our exams. Man I despise being a freshman.

So friday most of the IB small school went to COSI. COSI is one of the coolest places that I've ever been. It has two floors, and a mezzanine. On the second floor is a huge wire skeleton suspended from the ceiling, it's almost the entire length of the floor. On the mezzanine they have a unicycle rope walk. There's this huge iron cord that extends about half of the mezzanine and it's hanging over the first floor. On top of that there's this huge 250 pound weight that is supposed to keep you up. Regardless of how many of my friends tried it, I was too afraid. Yes I'm a little chicken when it comes to heights.

The entire bus ride home, 2 hours, I kept thinking that I've been there before. I don't know when, but I'm almost positive that I've been there before.

So, X3 came out friday...and for those who know me well enough, if you go see this movie before you have seen the other two, than you shall perish in eternal Hellfire. Or Phoenixflame, which ever you choose...Pick your poison. I saw the movie yesterday with my family, and I'm going again today with a group of friends. If any one else knows me as well as I do, than you will know that most of my friends are girls, and I've dated all of them twice...Not really, my present day girlfriend would kill me.

12 Days

It's true there are only twelve days left of school. Not long ago, it seemed like we just started.

This weekend I went to Mayfest for the first time, and had a really good time. Both my mom and I were bored to death Saturday and we decided to go for a small car trip. Our first stop was Mayfest. When we arrived, it just seemed like a little carnival, but wait an hour and it changes completely. There were so many different smells and so many different crafts that I was wanting to stay there for most of the day. It was a really happy place. While there I had a German gyro (euro). It has seasoned lamb, lettuce, and cucumber dressing all taco style in a piece of Pida bread. It tasted amazing. All of the flavors mixed, and the only thing that tasted bad was the aluminum foil that surrounded it. Mom had crayfish and I stayed clear from those on account of their eyes were staring at me, not the most comfortable feeling.

In the household we've recently acquired a new T.V. and so to celebrate I stayed up until four in the morning and played Kingdom Hearts 2. I don't care who you are, this is a very good game. Even some of the Football players I know play it. However, if you haven't beaten the first game, then I forbid you, again regardless of who you are, from playing the second game.

I've been having a lot of mood swings over the past month. Happy, sad, and then depressed and restart. I don't know why, but school doesn't seem to be helping at all. So I'm greeting the summer vacation with open arms.

I went to see M I 3 with a couple of friends recently. It was okay. It wasn't the best movie I had ever seen, but it satisfied my blow things up urge. Over all I'd give it a five out of ten.

So I ran to EB Games and traded in Three games. I got thirty four smackeroonies for the three games. Two of those games, were... POKEMON!!! Yes pokemon games are worth a huge amount of trade in credit. I got twelve bucks for one game and I was ecstatic. I didn't play the games anymore and I felt that I got a good deal out of it.

I'm not really sure what to do the rest of the day. I might go and finish up KH2 and continue playing FF7 (Also a very good game), or I might just sit around and read or zone or sleep. I'm not really sure what else to do.

The New Things

"Remember, remember the fifth of November,
The gunpowder treason, and plot.
I see no good reason, why the gunpowder treason,
should ever be forgot."

I find it amazing how many things that are important I can remember. For example, I can remember the intro text of both Kingdom Hearts, and KH 2, yet I can't remember what the day is.

I recently finished the next book in the Narnia Chronicles. I read The Silver Chair, and found it okay. It wasn't my favorite, but it was still pretty good. In this installment, Eustace and Jill venture into Narnia in order to bring back the Prince Rillian. It has been a while since we last saw Narnia, and King Caspian is very old. We meet no other recognizable characters other than Aslan, and King Caspian.

I finally got my copy of Kingdom Hearts 2, and I haven't been able to play too much of it. I've beaten the game, but I've started a new file on hard, and it's much harder. It took me about three tries before I beat the first boss, while in easy it took me one. It's an amazingly good game, but you won't understand a thing that's going on unless you've played and beaten the first game. Chain Of Memories, the second installment, isn't necessary to play, unless you want to. It fills in little gaps that the game doesn't.

Tonight I've got a violin concert that I've preforming in. It should be interesting, but my head hurts, and my fingers aren't as cooperative as I'd like them to be. Oh well, I'll do fine, or screw everything up, we'll find out.

In spanish tomorrow we've got a test, and we're celebrating Cinco De Mayo (The Fifth Of May).
I'm really pleased at how my Spanish speaking has progressed this year. I can translate sentences, and say them too. I'm not the best, but I still have three more years to learn.

History, I hate it. I see no point in learning about dead guy and girls, other than to get a good job. Really, I don't plan to be a History teacher, or any other profession that involves History.

Biology is going okay. Current Events (self explanitory) are due tomorrow, and mine's already done. Other than that we had a test quiz thing, I never understood the relationship between the two and I don't ever plan to. All I know is that they are used to test your knowledge.

In Language Arts we are just finishing up the last little part of Romeo and Juliet. Right now we're watching the orientation with Leonardo Decaprio, and I find it extreemly funny. The movie is modern based, but they use the old words, and call their guns swords.

We've got a Geometry test tomorrow, and it's on circles. I took in this area really well. I've always loved math, and luckly that has made it easier for me to understand.

Now I must take out the garbage, and get ready for my concert tonight. So long, parting is such sweet sorrow.

Yea...
