Mine Trolleys, New Books, and Anything Goes.
So I've finally found the time to get back on Blogger and post something. It's been a while, in fact it's been ninteen days since my last post, so this post might be a long one.
My spring officially started. To me, spring officially starts when you first mow your yard, which I've done twice now.
Spring Break was a very laid back vacation. I stayed home and either read, rode my bike, or played video games. I rented Kingdom Hearts 2 and got to the final boss right as we had to send it back. My copy of the game probably won't arrive for a couple of weeks, so I'm just going to rent it...again. Hopefully I'll get a copy of it before the next game comes out.
For a week or so now, I've been reading a book called Endymion Spring. It's amazingly good, which suprised me at first because I'm not used to reading anything other than pure fantasy. This book however, had a nice mix of fiction and of non-fiction. The book is based in two different time periods: the past, and the present. In the past we meet a boy named Endymion, or that's at least what the book tells us his name is, and we meet Johann Gutenburg (I think I spelled that right). We also meet a man named Fust who carries around a large trunk guarded by two large snakes.
In the present we meet a boy named Blake, his younger sister Duck, and their mother Juliet Winters. Their mother is a writer and so is their father, but while the children and the mother are in Oxford, the father is in the United States if I'm correct.
One day Blake is exploring the Oxford Library and happens to run across a blank book. The book is titled Endymion Spring.
I've got many more books that I have to read, about seven if I'm correct. I have to finish the Narnia series, the Lord of the Rings series, read my christmas books, and find something else to read. Also for school we just finished Romeo and Juliet. We didn't read the play completely, we watched the movie and read different parts that the movie didn't contain. We watched the older movie, the one that didn't contain Leonardo.
So today I was playing Resident Evil 4. I've gotten to the point where the presidents daughter has yet again been taken from me, and I'm all alone trying to stay alive.
Right now I have a Handgun, Shotgun, and a Semi-Auto rifle. I had a Magnum for a while, but you never have any ammo for it so I sold it and re-bought my rifle (I had sold the rifle to get the Magnum). I'm low on ammo, and all I can do after that is knife people to death and hope that they don't regenerate. For yes, some of the zombies that I'm killing now regenerate if you don't hit their vitals. Unfortunatly, their vitals are always different and you can't easily penetrate their skin with my regular handgun. Thank the lord for Shotguns. Also, this is possibly the scareist game that I've ever played, I really mean that.
Last week I had gone to the movies with a couple of friends and seen The Sentinel with Keifer Sutherland. It was a very detective like movie, it was a big who threatened the president. There weren't as many explosions as I had hoped there would be, but beggars can't be chosers.
In my Animal Crossing town I have just recently found Wendel for the Golden Axe trading sequence, and he gave me the wrong item!!!! He gave me a country guitar instead of a turban, and I still have about 400,000 bells in my current loan. I think that it actually went up, is that possible?
I'm hoping to get together with a friend Sunday, but you never know what might happen.
I've found it amazing that the night is getting shorter. Sorry if my typing is off, I'm enjoying the outside while I type. But yea, in the morning as I head out to school it's already getting light out, and it's not getting dark until at least nine o'clock. I'm really happy, cause that means that the last day of school is almost here!!!!Wohoo!!!
I'm not sure why but there is this one tree that's got my attention, and just won't let go of it...and I'm completely fine with that. Our windows are split up into a grid and the middle top part of the tree is in the grid that I'm looking through.
In Spanish today there was nothing new going on. We learned that the Spanish word for tub is La Tina. I feel sorry for one of my friends, because her name is Tina. So her name is incorperated with a tub, the Napoleon Dynamite Lama, and is a code word for Crystal Meth.
In Social Studies our teacher worked the Blood drive, so we sat in the cafeteria and did a practice quiz for the first ten minutes, and then we all finished and goofed off.
In Biology we are studying more about adaptation and Fitness. Darwin Vs. Lamark, who would win. I can just imagine a boxing match between these two scientists, and I laugh at it. Because Boxing is full contact, and scientists are very let's analyze the problem and then deal with it with a Hypothesis. I just find it funny to try and visualize two different nerds boxing.
In Language we just finished Romeo and Juliet, and in Geometry we are working on circles. How to identify them, how to prove it's a circle, and how to figure out the measure of an arc of a certain section. It's all very cool. She gave us a quiz a couple of days ago, and we all finished with time to spare. I made some stupid mistakes, and completely guessed the correct answer to a certain problem. Pythagorean Triples, that's what I based my entire guess on, what I remembered of Pythagorean Triples.
Tomorrow I have to mow our yard, so I think I'll get up early in the morning and do it while it's nice and cool out.
Now I'm going to start the unofficial countdown to the final day of school.
26 Days
Now this countdown does not include days off school, or weekends.
Sleep well all, I wish I could type in Gnomish.
